Round 9 AMM mentor @EsmeSymesSmith has kept busy! They will select one talented middle grade writer to mentor once mentee submissions close January 2022. Fruits Baskets' Yuki Sohma was a great anime pairing for Esme. A real deuteragonist in the series and unabashedly able to showcase his propensity to break trends and overcome isolation. And Esme and Sir Callie break barriers. Sword or magic—the choice is yours.
