Author/Anime Color Palette Series: Karah x The Stalk

Welcome to my author/anime color palette series! Where my obsession with hex codes and middle grade/graphic novels come together. I'll break down an author's photo color palette and which animated character they remind me of.

Karah Sutton, @karahdactyl, is the author of A Wolf for Spell. Published in 2020 and nominated for a #GoodReads Choice Award, readers voted on this "fantastical tale of a wolf who forms an unlikely alliance with Baba Yaga to save the forest from a wicked tsar." And it's quite an entertaining read filled with Baba Yaga charm! Karah is also a former #PitchWars mentor having helped writers pursue their publishing goals.

What's Karah's author color palette like?

Hex codes include: sea whip, guardian, cobbler, and gizmo.

Fans (like myself) of Brian K. Vaughan's incredible space opera/fantasy Saga graphic novel series will appreciate The Stalk and all of her glory. Much like Karah who shows the trials of transformation with her main characters Zima and Nadya, readers find an affinity for The Stalk, a hired freelance bounty hunter who shows femininity and questionable romance. The Stalk's striking spidery figure leaves us intrigued — as does a soft yet deadly color palette.
